Yung-Jen Cheng

Hi everyone! I am Yung-Jen Cheng and I am running to be the Vice President of Business Society's Consulting Division. Having had the experience as a First-Year Executive at the society, I have had the opportunity to lead various initiatives such as panel events and competitions like DECA. Through this unique experience, I practiced to host events like SKP panel talk and outreach for speackers for the entrepreneur talk. As a scholar from Taiwan China, I have always had the passion to help local businesses internationalise to new markets and discover potential in new ventures. As such, I hope to leverage on this passion and the network that I have to build on the existing consulting opportunities for all BizSoc members regardless of your experience in this field.

I am standing because I would like to:

1. enable students from UCL to explore a variety of career choices including consulting

2. provide students from UCL to have sessions that help them develop case skills

Anika Priyaranjan

When I look around, I see motivated, driven individuals with ingenious ideas sparking through their visions of success. As the Consulting VP of the Business Society, I'd be committed to helping the society grow and thrive, so it can continue to provide a platform for its members to learn and gain experiences. With my extensive background working with businesses, I would like to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, helping members navigate the complexities of the industry.

My vision for the society is one of expansion and potential. I am determined to utilise its potential to become a powerful force among numerous business-focused organisations. I aspire to expand the society’s reach by forming more partnerships with successful businesses and organisations, creating new opportunities and providing the best possible resources. I want to increase the frequency and variety of the opportunities that the society has to offer. I also aspire to introduce new innovative initiatives that will ensure our members’ success, including but not limited to more networking and speaker events, case study competitions, and workshops.

I am dedicated to ensuring that society is functioning efficiently and effectively while reflecting the goals and aspirations of each member of the organisation. With my vision, dedication and initiative for responsibility, I am confident that I can help the society reach its full potential. It’s going to be an adventure. I’m in for the ride if you are.
