Hey, I'm Owen and I'm running to be your Social Sec for next year. Our socials are one of the main reasons I've stayed with RUMSBC and they are a vital part of the club. That's why I'd love to be your social sec!

Having been to pretty much every social going during my time here (at least a centuries worth), I have a good understanding of how they run and what to expect. I want to maintain the values of the club in our socials, as well as considering new ideas for how we can make socials more fun and inclusive for everyone in the club.

My aims are to continue the work this year's social secs and nov captains have done to integrate the freshers, which has established a great boat club community to build upon next year. I would also like to think of ways we can organise some more non-drinking focussed socials, and work with others to establish how we can make these more inclusive. And of course organising a massive man/main tour, in truly chaotic RUMSBC style.

So vote for me for a fun year of more boat club shenanigans!!!
