Toma Ogawa

I have been involved in the BML society as a marketing officer this term. Being part of the behind-the-scenes work, I have observed the amount of hard work and dedication that our current president had to put in to run a successful term in the society. I would like to carry on the efforts to run this society and continue expanding our society.

Additionally, this society has given me an amazing 2nd year experience and I hope to work in a team of passionate individuals to give back and improve someone’s university experience. I would like to continue maintaining the discussion groups and organise events where people can discuss about the ethical issues in bioscience.

If elected I would aim to:

- Involve more members in the discussion groups

- Increase social activities for the committee and for the members

- Host more panel discussions on various areas of bioscience research and ethics

Thank you and feel free to contact me about my ideas!
