Eileen Bei Zeng

Hi everyone! As a second year LLB law student with a deep interest in bioethics, medicine and healthcare, I want to be able to provide opportunities for students with all other backgrounds to understand this field better and key questions like why we should respect patients' autonomy. I noticed that there have not been as many events or speakers on the topic of medical law this year, so it would be my priority to help organise meaningful events, discussion groups and networking opportunities for aspiring med law students, life sciences students, and simply anyone who is interested! 

I have experience in contacting firms and taking lead of a group from my summer internship with Green Enterprise Group and will be able to apply that in benefitting BMLSoc to the best of my ability. Overall, I am so excited to bring all of you closer to the field of medical law and learn how relevant yet fascinating it really is. Thank you and I hope you will consider voting for me!
