Basketball Club (Men's): Vice-President (Operations)

As the current President of our basketball club, I am excited to apply for the Vice President role for the upcoming season. Having been part of the club for the past four years, I am confident that I possess the necessary experience, skills, and passion to contribute significantly to the club's growth and success in this new role. I would be committed to helping the incoming President transition smoothly into the role by supporting them in all of their duties and responsibilities to ensure they succeed. My experience this year has taught me valuable leadership, communication, and organizational skills that I plan to use to help alleviate some of the stresses for the next President.

One of the keys to the club's future success will be continuing to build strong relationships with our members. As Vice President, I will prioritize creating a positive and inclusive environment where all members feel valued and supported. I am excited to use my experience to help organize more social, charity, and community outreach events for our members next year. This will include events similar to the very popular Movember tournament this year which helped to contribute to the £600 raised by the club. I will also work closely with the social secretaries to organise a greater varitey of socials such as movie nights and NBA screenings. I strongly believe these events are a great way to bring our members together, give back to the wider community and further advance the club.
