Helen Zheng
Hii I'm Helen. As a BBC, I strongly value inclusivity and building a diverse community that is a safe and comfortable space for all students at UCL. As Publicity Officer of the ASN committee this year, seeing the way ASN have expanded has made me proud and appreciative for all the support we have had. I aim to continue to work hard as Treasurer/Vice President next year, whilst further improving my leadership and problem solving skills.
With my current main responsibilities of making posts and managing the discord server, I hope every member have enjoyed coming along to our events and liked the posts that I have designed so far. Also being a part of the UCL Mahjong Society (as Publicity Officer) and CPS (as Catering Officer), has allowed me to continually develop my organisation and communication skills. Hence, I hope to contribute to society in the following ways:
- Introduce ASN society merchandise and ready for the next academic year, such as tote bags, keyrings and stickers. As well as cute membership cards for our members, personalised with your name on it
- Although this year, we have not been able to grab ourselves discounts. It is my goal to work with the President to provide discounts and get sponsorships so you can get the most out of being an ASN member
-All in all, to create fun and comfortable space for all students at our events. Introducing more collaborations with other societies and competitive yet rewarding events
