Arts and Sciences Society: Head of Events

I believe that the power of BASC community lies in our events, not the frustration with ATK essays. Our degree is fragmented, and BASC events are a way to connect people within their year and form the community of us, BASC-ers, overall.

Why am I running for Head of Events? Well, we finally have freedom to host in-person and online events and I feel that I could effectively create and manage them both. As for experience, I am proficient in organising multiple types of events, from office parties and academic conferences to writing summer camp programme and producing a Jazz show.

Finally, I am on a mission to organise an inter-departmental campus-wide capture the flag game.

I would love to make a fun and constructive impact on the society and I feel like I can do so by taking on the responsibility of Head of Events. I believe that BASC society committee is exactly the creative and inspirational environment I will belong.
