Mungo Mangat

Hi, my name is Mungo and I'm a second year natural sciences student. I have been a part of AI society for 2 years now and would love the opportunity to help provide the same experiences I have been given to AI society members

During multiple hackathons and volunteering I have taken part in, I have built up connections to companies such as Microsoft, as well as smaller companies such as Pareto Economics. As Head of Outreach, I would make full use of these to provide the very best opportunities for AI society members.

I am also a member of other tech-based societies and so I have every intention in creating connections between these societies to allow more ambitious events and projects to be planned.

Miriam Jansen

I'm an active member of the AI Society, organising events as Event Officer and involving myself in industry outreach. Combined with my outreach experience, I'm confident in my ability to bring new sponsors and partners to AI Soc.

Artificial Intelligence is gaining importance as a field, and the growing industry demand for graduates reflects that. The role of an academic society is, in my opinion, to help students build skills, connections, and knowledge that cannot be found in the classroom. Outreach is critical to this, as it allows us to connect students with relevant academic and industry partners.

I have secured sponsors for previous UCL events and societies, and have the skillset to succeed in this role. Furthermore, I have a good understanding of the AI space and a clear idea of which institutions and companies can and will benefit from involvement with our society. I'm running for Head of Outreach as opposed to Outreach Officer because I enjoy managing a team, and hope to spend this year fine-tuning my managerial skills through leadership positions at various societies.

Outreach is a collaborative effort, requiring the committee to pool together their ideas and connections. If you have any proposals for outreach, regardless of your role in the society, please reach out to me! We'll to work together to make AI Soc bigger than ever for the 23/24 academic year.

Ethan Richard Victorio Kho

Hey guys!

I'm Ethan and I'm running to be your Head of Outreach because I want to foster a welcoming AI Society community.

As a First Year Representative, I can confidently say that I know how things run within the society which will help me support and get to know each and every one of you. Plus, I'm also someone who loves meeting new people (I'll be able to do my job well because I'll have tons of fun doing it).

Vote for me as your Head of Outreach if you want the AI Society to be a place where we can all learn about AI in a fun, social way! ???
