Pritika Garodia

Research is one of the domains that I, not only specialise in but also am deeply interested in. I am currently doing applied medical sciences, a premed course through which I could go either into the medical field or the research field. I therefore believe I have the necessary skills to undertake this role efficiently.I am dedicated to continued learning and to keep updating my knowledge regularly to optimise my contributions in this role. I have undertaken a lot of research projects in the past and my experience will prove beneficial to the society. I aim to further grow the society and bring in ideas that may have not been previously undertaken. Lastly, medicine is one of my biggest passions and this opportunity will help me develop important skills as well.

Yoki Wang

Hi! This is Yoki Wang and I’m a first year biochemical engineering student. Having developed a strong interest in exploring the intricate structure of the human body from being a member of the local healthcare community for three years, I’m excited to stand for this position for the next academic year. I have had experience organizing several health workshops and engaging in the research process has always been a delight to me.

In addition, the course I’m studying focuses on the innovation of new medicine synthesis using biotechnology. I believe it is important for future scientists to be able to connect their specific field knowledge with human anatomy to better enhance our health care system and the medical field as a whole.

Anatomy is a field of study that has interesting applications in many areas. If I’m elected, I will collaborate closely with the society members and research on topics that align with member’s interests, as well as to come out with creative event ideas that extend the applicability of anatomy to attract students studying in different field, therefore further enhance the diversity of our society to make anatomy to be enjoyed by all students across UCL.
