Amnesty International Society: President

As someone who was involved in amnesty international in school, I was looking forward to joining the society in university. However, there wasn’t a lot going on this year - I went to the socials that I could attend and went to the protest (which was great!) but I would like to provide more opportunities for members to get involved next year. 
I want UCL amnesty to be involved in current affairs, helping to put pressure on governments and groups that are violating the human rights of people who trust them to protect them.

I’m going to do this, not only through more events as a society, but also by making it easy to get involved at home.

I hope to work with you all next year!
