I am standing because I want to help support the aikido society as a member that enjoys the sport. The social media page portrayed the club as welcoming, providing me with the information needed to access the taster session and later, join the society. I want to take on a leadership role to show that aikido is a welcoming and fun community so that we can inspire others to join and experience the sport.
