Aditi Sivakumar Neelagesi

Hello everyone!

This is Aditi, a second year Biochemical Engineering student. I am running for the role of assistant Vice President as I want to help in the betterment and improvement in the committee functioning and help in the exhibiting the best and fun events. I would love to be a strong pillar of support, encourage, and persuade the committee to bring up innovative ideas and conduct many more events planned.

Being on the committee last year as one of the events managers has really pushed me to explore and engage in multiple decision-making skills and I have made loads of amazing friends. I would love to take this second opportunity and develop on them. Given me this wonderful chance, I will ensure that the committee is on track with respect to the planning of events and executing them, keeping all the committee members updated with the recent ideas and definitely working closely with the vice president and supporting her to plan out the best events.

I am eagerly waiting and hoping to be a part of this committee and if you ever see me around at campus feel free to say Hi!

Ari Bazaga

The lack of representation of women in STEM - particularly engineering is something that's affected me previously when trying to find opportunities to advance my career. This is something that the UCL Women's Engineering Society is very aware of and use their resources to plan events which I have found very helpful and insightful in the past which help ensure equality of outcome. I would love to work alongside them and I have many ideas which I'm excited to put forward if I was elected for the role. I chose Assistant Vice President specifically as I am interested in working in partnership with the heads of the society to make sure everything runs smoothly using my good organisational skills, by taking meeting minutes, doing admin jobs etc.
