Welsh Society: Vice President

Hey! I am Danilo and I would love to the Vice President for the Welsh Society! I have been part of the amazing committee as the Welfare Assistant and I have loved it, and this has given me the appropriate skills for the role. I have made some of my closest friends here and I hope to help our members do the same! I have been on the committee of 39 societies at UCL this year (including founding 2 new societies) and this has given me the experience suitable to help lead the society next year, as well as creating many connections for potential collabs! Next year, I hope to help organise many fun events - such as Welsh clubnights, collabs, food tastings, outings, speed-friendings, picnics and many more - and I would also loved to organise a trip to Wales as well! I will also connect with Welsh unis and other Welsh societies in London to create more connections for our members (and awesome events!), and I will help with the language lessons - I am very passionate about the teaching and learning of Welsh in order to kee[ the language alive! I will ensure that the society is the very best it can be and that all members are happy and comfortable in the society, and support the welfare officer in ensuring that all members are supported the very best that they can be.
