Ukrainian Society: Treasurer

Hello everyone, my name is Gleb! I am Ukrainian, and I study Politics and International Relations here at UCL. As you all know, our country is living through very difficult times, yet I am certain that we will come out victorious. However, at present, I cannot stand aside, and feel a strong need to get involved in any way possible. For this reason, I am running for the Treasurer position, which would place me in charge of the society’s financial matters. In the past, I have served as my school’s President, led several societies, and organised multiple events, therefore responsibility is nothing new to me. Together with other committee members, it will be my goal to foster a welcoming environment, where other students can learn about Ukraine through a variety of educational and social events. 

Ukraine’s strength is in unity, which is something I believe our society should strive for. If elected, I will seek to effectively manage the available funds, and ensure that we do our best in representing a united Ukraine at University College London and beyond!
