I have lived in Turkey for 5 years as a teenager and find myself missing those days as I am sure other students from Turkey have felt. The purpose of my standing is to allow people to experience the amazing culture of Turkey. Both introducing this rich culture to people who don't know about it and making those who are part of the culture feel more at home.

What I will bring as president is as follows:

1. Regular socials with fun games

2. Speaker events

3. Joint events with other Turkish societies in London

4. Turkish movie nights

5. Turkish football league watch parties

6. Turkish food events

7. Turkish karaoke

8. Joint events with other UCL culture societies

9. Historical discussion events
