I am running for this position because I believe I can bring my passion for news and writing to the society. If elected, I would implement multiple reforms to increase article turnout including....
- Creating dedicated teams of writers for specific subjects like politics, culture, social issues, etc. who aim to write a certain number of articles per week
- Having a team of writers dedicated to breaking news
- Reaching out to societies when an article has something to do with them and seeing if a member would like to comment/write
I currently write a weekly script for the PiTV news segment and have written a couple article for PiOnline. I study History, Politics and Economics here at UCL where I also participate in the UNA society as events director.
