Alice McNally

Hi everyone, I'm Alice! I'm currently coming towards the end of my 2nd year of being a part of UCL Netball. After what has been such an enjoyable year as being on the committee as your PR Officer, I would love to step up into the role of Welfare Officer for the club and use the experience that I have gained over this past year to continue to make our club one of the most welcoming and inclusive sports societies that UCL has to offer.  

As your Welfare Officer I would work hard to continue the work done by previous committees to improve the diversity and inclusivity of our club. This would include maintaining and building on partnerships with other societies in order to run 'Give it a Go' sessions and also introduce integrated socials. 

One thing that I would like to see more of in our club next year are monthly drop-in sessions held on campus where anyone is welcome to come and take some time out of their busy schedule for some fun self care, even if it’s just to have a quick catchup! These sessions would include anything from the likes of yoga to face-masks, essentially any form of stress-free relaxation! 

And finally, most importantly, as Welfare Officer I want to make sure that every member of UCNC knows that they always have a friendly face to turn to no matter what the situation. I am never one to turn down a chat over a coffee and will ensure that everyone in the club feels supported and that the netball love is shared.
