It is safe to say that being part of UCNC has been one of the best parts of my university experience.I have loved being part of the 1s this season,and I feel confident in applying for the demanding role of 1st team captain.We’ve had an amazing season and I would love for us as a team to push on,train hard and maintain a strong work ethic to do just as well next year(I am not prepared to lose to Kings).Also,I want to continue the expectation of attendance at training and S&C sessions and enforce at least one bleep test next year:).Having undergone captain’s training at the start of the season,I am excited to follow in Immy’s footsteps by running technical and knackering training sessions.

I hope to ensure that UCNC remains a warm and friendly environment for all players.I felt immediately welcome when joining 2 years ago and want to ensure freshers get the same first impression.It is important to me that everyone in the team and club feels valued-no one player is more important than anyone else.This also goes for recognising commitment, hard work and attitude throughout the club and making sure that effort is rewarded.In addition,I am an approachable individual,and would be happy to help other team captains if they needed anything.Ultimately,I really care about this team and UCNC as a whole-I would love the opportunity to be part of the committee,ensuring that our values are up kept and striving to do just as well next year,with hopefully a couple less injuries!
