I am a double board-certified Ophthalmic surgeon with a broad interest in medical technology, bioscience and AI. I have contributed to large-scale projects in the medtech field in the United Kingdom and I am a student at UCL with my second MSc degree.
I would like to become the Welfare Officer of the Medtech Society in order to improve inclusion, equality and wellbeing overall for everyone active in this field. Specifically, I would like to improve the job situation for students and researchers who are disadvantaged for any reason and are struggling with reaching their full potential.
