Hi! I'm Samir. I think that mental health and creating safe spaces are very important for all universities and societies today. I would like to be Welfare Officer to ensure that all meetings can be considered safe places for all and to make sure students who are part of the Marxist society can get the support they need. As the Marxist society is a place for open discussion and debate, I believe it is even more important to ensure that all are welcome and people can feel safe to express their opinion.
