Hi, my name is Rhea and I would like to run for Malayali Society's welfare secretary. With all that's going on, this is a position that is especially important so we can support everyone in this society and listen to your needs and opinions. I think that Malayali Society should be a place for everyone to get together and be free to speak to each other without the fear of being judged or overlooked. Aside from my degree, I work as a part time nanny which makes me better at taking care of people and listening to people, both vital aspects which will make a successful welfare secretary. My main goal is to make our socials and the general society as fun and friendly as possible by ensuring that the no tolerance policy towards discrimination or misconduct continues. I would also make sure that there is a safe place to go during our socials and to be a kind and familiar face who is always available for a chat.
