While helping with UCL Gayo Daejeon, I enjoyed filming VCRs and learning methods from the current tech officers. I’d like to continue being at the forefront of filming & editing content, whether that be covers, blooper reels or other new projects, including my proposal of creating short highlight reels of other social events, not just dance-based ones. Being a tech officer would allow me to effectively work in  a team and receive suggestions from those who are involved in KPOP Soc events, but not the direct editing process. I would also continue the work of the current tech officers by filming weekly dance classes and termly showcases. Most importantly, I want to emphasise the social aspect of KPOP Soc by giving people more opportunities to be at the heart of its events. By implementing new temporary positions, like the assistant director and producer roles for Blooms, members are given stepping stones into eventually joining the committee, and I would absolutely try to create a few of these roles in regards to the tech aspect to inspire / encourage future committee members. In terms of experience, I have previously used Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro for both academic and extra-curricular projects, as well as being familiar with the basics of Adobe Premiere Pro. I'm also organised and flexible with my schedule.
