Mohammad Farooq

I would like to run for this position as the Islamic Society has supported me greatly in the past two years and I would like to play a part in giving back to the community from which I have gained so much. 

If I were to be elected, my main aim would be to help build and nurture the Muslim community on campus, so that they feel comfortable to practice their faith. Through organising events, socials, and other initiatives, I hope to provide a space for Muslims to enjoy their time at university, whilst strengthening their Islamic identity and helping them to meet other like-minded individuals.
