As a person who was only recently introduce to the world of freestyle dance, I understand just how scary it can be to start something new and afresh like freestyle dance - especially in an environment that can sometimes involve people watching you. But it was thanks to this society that I am able to more freely express myself through dancing without worry or even thought, no matter who was watching. And I want to make that the same experience for you! I want to make sure that the society continues to be an inclusive space for dancers of all levels to enjoy themselves and for everyone to just have fun through building and maintaining a friendly community where we can learn from others and share with others. Dance sometimes can seem intimidating to beginners and even stressful for more experienced dancers. But I hope to be that person that can help you (re)discover and (re)kindle your passion for it in times of hardship - whether that hardship is related to dance or just your everyday life. As your Welfare Officer, I will be there for you in any and/or every step of your freestyle dance journey - anytime you need me! Let's grow as dancers (and buddies) together~
