The Female Lead Society: President

Growing up in China, I have truly experienced different degrees of gender stereotypes and witnessed other women who have also suffered from gender inequality in the workplace and education. But I managed to break these limits that once constrained me and now I want to use my power to help more. The Female Lead is a wonderful platform I would like to work with where our value matches and I am passionate about making a change together. I also have past experience of running a gender equality club, which provides me skills to be not only a good leader but also a great listener and action taker. During the project, I helped to organize a range of events, from on-campus poster promotions to bubble tea fundraiser (about 800 pounds). I am excited to bring my skills and passion to the Female Lead and work with people from all backgrounds to combat gender inequality together and say our voices out loud.
