Chess Society: Beginner Rep

I am very passionate about chess and I have played it for a long time. I have always found the social aspects of chess most interesting and during my time as a member of the UCL chess society I have greatly enjoyed discussing games with others and learning from players better than me. I currently work as a chess coach part time and have greatly enjoyed teaching in this setting but also teaching my friends and family for fun. Therefore, I am experienced in the issues that beginners face getting involved in chess, so I am the ideal candidate for overseeing activities oriented at new players. I am strongly of the belief that chess should be made fun and accessible for all, and I think becoming the beginner's representative will allow me to achieve this goal.
