Bridge Society: Welfare Officer

Hey there! My name is Jason, a first year studying medicine and I am standing to be your bridge society welfare officer.

I aim to carry out more advertising through social media, eg. creation of Instagram account, and to establish a harmonious atmosphere where we can learn, share, and bond together. As a prefect, founder of a society and a mentor in sixth form, I have learnt the importance of empathy and patience in teaching. Moreover, having only been exposed to the game since September, I truly understand the intricacies within it as a learner. Therefore, I believe I will be the perfect candidate to teach and to liaise with newcomers. Perhaps I am not the most experienced bridge player, but I am certainly very keen on the game. From my past experiences, I believe I possess the necessary skills to bring forward for the society, eg. leadership, communication and time management. If elected, I shall do all I can to help the society flourish.
