Ng Sheng Yuan
Hi! I'm Sheng Yuan (or Sheng, as most of you guys know me) and I am running for Social Basketball secretary this year!
I am part of social basketball and have really enjoyed it this year, and would like to give back by putting myself up to run it this year. In its current state, social basketball is mostly the weekly pickup games and the 3v3 intramural basketball league, but I would like to expand this part of the society to include a wider range of activities, such as pub socials, NBA watch parties and skills sessions.
(Potential) New Initiatives
- Revamping social basketball ticketing system to be more consistent and encourage interaction between players
- Introduce wider range of activites such as pub socials and watch parties
- Increase court time where possible
- Introduce diect line of communication for members to feedback and propose new ideas

I have gone for most social basketball sessions, only missing out on a few because of dearest COVID-19.
If you'd like someone who personally goes for the sessions, knows what needs to be improved and has plans to do so, vote for Sheng :)
