I've really enjoyed being a part of this society over the past few years. I've made a lot of friends through this society, and meeting other autistic people has helped me feel less alone. I'd like to continue and improve upon the excellent work done by this year's committee by putting myself forward to be the president of the society.

As president, I will continue to hold the biweekly half online/half in-person meetings, as well as extra meetings, such as movie nights & special outings. I'd work to create a 'buddy system' of sorts that would let members go to other societies' events with other members, so that people would be able to join societies without jumping in alone, which can be pretty overwhelming. I'll continue to run the society discord and group chat, as well as continue our gaming events. The Stardew Valley socials have been very fun, and I've been working on creating a society Minecraft server with the committee which should be released soon. As the representative of UCL's autistic students, I will work with the SU and UCL itself to make sure that UCL is as accessible as possible for autistic students. As someone who has had to deal with SORAs, extensions, and interruptions, all experiences that are quite common amongst autistic students here at UCL, I feel that I would also be able to offer help and advice in such matters to our members.

With your support, I hope that we can work to make this society a great place for all autistic folks at UCL!
