Danilo Paganelli

Hey everyone! My name is Danilo and I would love to be the Vice President for the amazing Austrian Society! I have been part of the committee for the past year and I have loved it so much - I have made such good friends here and it has made this hard year so much better. Being part of the committee this year has given me so much experience which I think will be key to being Vice President next year. I have actually been on the committee of 39 societies this year, and I can use the experience and connections from this to make the society the very best it can be! Next year I will help create many events such as Stammtisches, movie nights and pizza parties, as well as club nights and collabs with other societies and universities (I have a lot of links!). I also would love to help create some "German Austrian" language lessons in order to highlight the difference between the German used in Austria and German. I also hope to create some fundraisers next year so that we can raise money for those in need and make the world a better place using our lovely society! :) I also will work closely with the welfare officer to ensure that everyone is happy and comfortable in the society and I will do my very best to support all members. I also would love to create a penpal system so that UCL students can make connections with Austrian students. The Austrian Society has made me so happy this past year, and I would love to help make others happy next year in society as Vice President
