Armenian Society: Events Officer

As well as having a love for my Armenian culture, I love to be involved in the wider Armenian community to help make a difference and bring Armenians together. I believe I could do this successfully as the Events Officer of our society.

My past and current contributions to our Armenian community in London have provided me with skills I believe will help me with the role as Events Officer for our society at UCL. Through my experience of being a group leader as part of Homenetmen London scouting, I have had the opportunity to plan fundraising initiatives, such as our ‘Active for Artsakh’ programme which helped raise funds for those displaced due to the Artsakh war in October 2020. Volunteering as a scouts leader has also helped me become a great team player, as well as being in the Homenetmen London basketball team and Akhtamar APG with other Armenians.

I have many ideas that I think could benefit us as a society and the Armenian Youth in London. I would love to be able to lead the organisation of events and see them come to life.
