Media has always sparked an interest in my creativity and imagination. It is all about bringing a real-life moment to display - in this case representing the family-like culture of my committee through vibrant images and posters. The reason why I find myself applying for Media officer is because I naturally thrive in positions where I guide others, and work together on a project as a team. Media officers need to have the right balance of staying grounded, but also the freedom to fly high and soar into endless possibilities of what they can create. Having been part of the committee as a fresher rep, I managed to gain valuable insight on how to manage and delegate a team, as well as how to make sure my team feels safe, seen, and heard.

Bringing a sense of my taste in design to UCL Arab and North African, will not only be an opportunity for me to explore my potential, but also a chance for me to gain a deeper connection to my culture and one of its biggest attribute to the world: art.
