Election post
As a 4th year medical student, I am grateful for the neuroanatomy tutorials that Anatomy Society have provided for the past years to build up my knowledge and provide a strong foundation for my clinical years.
I fully recognise the difficulties of learning neuroanatomy, and this has been made even more challenging a prospect in the past couple of years with COVID. However, in my four-year experience as a tutor and adapting to the pandemic, I am passionate about making neuroanatomy easier and enjoyable to learn and understand.
In this position, I plan to implement live and online sessions that will be recorded and accessed all throughout the year (allowing students to access the content wherever and whenever they like) and prepare an OSCE/OCAPE style exam session tailored specifically for neuroanatomy. I will heavily prioritise revision techniques and methods to make the learning process easier for students as well as create resources tailored to assist with revising these difficult topics.
I feel confident that I understand what this role entails and I have the necessary skills, knowledge, creativity and passion to do it justice, and maintain the high standards of my predecessors.
