Election post
I believe in total justice and equality for all. By that, contributing to the relief of political unrest across the world through a well-established platform such as Amnesty International is one of the many ways to create a mark. I've grown up around Europe during my upbringing, attending many international schools and within that, experiencing various economic and social systems.
My interest in political issues was kindled in my early years of secondary school where I joined the Amnesty International club at my school and became president the following two years. I've led and organised weekly petitions and awareness campaigns along with an annual "Write-A-Thon," working alongside the Amnesty headquarters in the Hague to send hand written letters to country leaders around the world, pressing for change.
With this, my previous experience with leadership and working directly with Amnesty strongly encourages me to continue fighting for justice as president, here, at UCL.
