Islamic Society: Welfare Officer

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

My name is Tanisha, and I am excited to put myself forward for the Welfare Officer role within the Islamic Society (ISoc)- one which has always been a beacon of unity, support and inspiration for its members and beyond. I am eager to give back and contribute further to this incredible community.

The welfare of every brother and sister within ISoc is not just a priority but a trust that must be carried with compassion and dedication. I aim to prioritise holistic support, ensuring members feel comfortable seeking emotional, spiritual, and practical help, fostering meaningful conversations, and promoting a welcoming and safe space.

My vision includes hosting events, workshops and group discussions to increase welfare representation and remind everyone that their well-being always comes first.

It would be an honour to serve this community- I ask for your trust and support in this journey!
