Election post
Fun and friends is what I stand for. I’m standing as Treasurer to provide all members with a fun, entertaining, and engaging university experience.
Whether you’re a seasoned campaigner/supporter, or new to engaging with our Society altogether, I’m here to facilitate and plan new social events for you to enjoy yourself, meet new people, and learn about us.
I’m standing to support more of your aspirations and interests within the society, whatever you study. I will work with the Editor of the Caerulean to restart and expand it into a web format, so members interested can hone their writing. For those interested in engaging with politics, public policy, journalism, and academia, I will develop a careers service to expose you to more of those opportunities - and create a Sponsorship Framework to consider potential sponsors to support you.
I’m also standing to preserve the sense of community we have by planning new events: let’s have more curry nights and film screenings so we can support and subsidise a substantially cheaper annual dinner!
Let’s link up with the other university port & policy sessions and continue to develop our relationships with Conservative Societies outside of London.
And so much more…
