The events officers work together to ensure the smooth running of the workshops. They are involved in the preparation of materials, brainstorming how to make events exciting and engaging and are generally an essential part of the committee.

Hi I'm Nim and I am running to be your Events Officer!
I believe that public speaking is so important and that everyone can be a good speaker. Our society should therefore focus on events which increase accessibility and make sure that we are a safe space to encourage everyone to get involved.
I will continue the wonderful workshops that we already run, coordinating with the comittee on ideas for crucial skills that we can work on in the workshops.
At the same time, I will push for other events, and work with the social team to come up with fun socials (which include food!) and collaborations with other societies.
So if you want UCL's pre-eminent public speaking society to be a space that is fun and inclusive, vote for me!
