Hi all! I'm Karen, I was a Sponsorship Executive at TechSoc this year. 

As a Sponsorship Executive, I had the opportunity to be involved in new experiences and learn new skills. From negotiating prolific funding to keeping a good relationship with sponsors.

Along the process it was inspiring and humbling to see how these fundings are put into good use. To see how TechSoc empowered and rewarded our TechSoc community for their creativity, interest and dedication in one of our successful events, TechSoc's own hackaton, Porticode 5.0. 

 

The potential to which TechSoc has to be impactful in cultivating creativity and digital literacy, the empowering community and tight knit committee, have encouraged me to take on this Treasurer role. I ought engage further tech enthusiasts, to continue raising funds and utilise them for a better TechSoc with fruitful and dear events, amazing workshops and hackatons. 

I look forward to enrich TechSoc with exciting opportunities as we grow and inspire each other throughout this journey :)
