Being a part of TechSoc’s committee in the past year, I’ve enjoyed creating posts to promote the exciting events throughout the year as a marketing executive.

I’d love to have the opportunity to be able to lead and organise these fulfilling events for the society in the next year!

As president, I would continue holding insightful careers talks, events and socials to promote technology-related careers, help students build professional networks and connect companies to students directly. Additionally, I would continue hosting the annual hackathon and aim to make it an even more inclusive and accessible experience for everyone, no matter what degree you do or the level of technical skills you have.

I am committed to fulfilling the role as President as best as I can, and to uphold TechSoc’s motto to “Connect. Create. Collaborate.”

Hey, Tech Society members! I hope you enjoyed last year's activities as much as I did. As I enjoyed them so much, I want to be part of the committee this year - the President and ensure that Tech Society remains true to its motto of "Connect. Create. Collaborate." To achieve this, I propose the following actions:

  1. Introducing Mentorship programs: mentorship programs for members who sign up to receive guidance and support from experienced professionals in their field of interest. My aim is to partner with tech companies and alumni networks to facilitate these programs !
  2. Social, Social, Social!!:  Everyone loves an active society that allows them to meet more people! I will increase networking opportunities by organizing regular meet-and-greet events, coding workshop, office visit  to connect members together and potential employers.
  3. Tech Duo: technology is such a big field ! By collaborating with other student organizations -finance, computer science, and AI , our members will get to have more opportunities their tech skills in different field through  workshops and the"tech talk" !
  4. More Active on social media: aiming to develop a stronger online presence .This will help to attract more incoming members who share same interests and vision!
