Running, Athletics and Cross Country Club: Social Media Officer

I have been a keen runner for a good several years and the community built around this sport is something, that I really value. Having moved to London for uni during the pandemic, I lost touch with what really makes it worth it for me and RAX helped me fall back in love with something I've deeply missed. I want to help other students find that same thing I found at RAX.

Social media is an important part of running any society - from organising meetings to sharing tips and tricks, it helps us keep in touch and feel involved. I have been running the socials for baking society during my 2nd year, so I have extensive experience of what the job of taking care of socials for a society actually means. 

As a social media officer, I would like to make everyone feel included. With regular posts and emails, I want to make sure that RAX is a constant, reassuring presence. Responsiveness and communication are my priorities in running for this position.
