Marcus Holt

I have been an active member of the society for the past year and I have really enjoyed the high volume of content, courses, and discussion that have been made available through it. I would like to contribute to the provision of resources for our society and ensure that we have access to the most useful and interesting quant material.

To achieve this, I can draw on a range of experiences. I am well-versed in algorithmic trading and several programming languages. Studying physics gives me quantitative competence, and I have participated in team experiences outside of my course that ready me for producing content as a team, where I have led a team of 6 producing a growth report for an NGO as part of a consulting programme.

I also manage in a nearby student pub, where I have been able to develop my team skills, but also meet lots of interesting people that I would hope to connect with the society!
