Natasha Merricks

Hey! I am in my second year studying engineering and architectural design. I have loved being part of pole since I joined in October and would love the opportunity to give something back to the club by being on the committee.

Managing the social media for the club is something I would love to do and feel I have the relevant skills to do so successfully. I am studying a design-based course and have experience in graphic design so you can be sure of an aesthetically pleasing and informative Instagram feed, helping to promote the friendly community of pole society.

I have run the Instagram accounts previously for bars I have worked in, so I have the experience for this position. Alongside this, I studied photography at A-level, and it remains a passion of mine meaning I will be able to fill the social media with professional style pole photos to capture and promote everyone’s pole tricks and progress.

I would love to use the social media to help grow the society and uphold the inclusivity, making sure everyone is represented on the platform, using it to benefit all members of pole.

Thank you for considering me, please get in touch with any questions!

Diane J Ambrosi

Hi all!!

My name is Diane, I am an 18 year-old Frenchie, and a first year currently swamped with exams but hey, look at me throwing my degree away for pole – already committed! (And maybe procrastinating, but shhh)

I started pole back in October, and quickly got into it way more than I expected, which is one of the reasons I’m running: I got so much from the society, it’s time to give some back!

On a (slightly) more serious note, I am running for social media manager because I love being the contact point, the one people go to when they have questions, overall being there for them if there’s any confusion! And I think the role of social media manager would allow me to fulfil this purpose quite well, as I know the inbox of the Pole Fitness accounts are often flooded…

Let’s be completely honest, I spend way too much time on my phone already, so why not make this time useful! I know what it’s like desperately waiting for an answer about a class, a location, or just any other query (don’t come at me, I’m not targeting the pole society specifically), so if I can help it not happen just as much, I’d be more than happy to.
