Music Society (RUMS): Community Outreach Officer

I'm standing for this position first and foremost because I love RUMS Music! It has certainly been a big part of my UCL life so far and I absolutely look forward to every rehearsal and performance we have. I would hence love to be part of the committee to pay it forward and let every single member - existing and future - to have just as much enjoyment and fun as I had.

Music transcends boundaries, and it is definitely a great way to serve and touch hearts within our community. As a community outreach officer, I will strive to network with various community programmes and projects, creating opportunities for our members to perform, learn and volunteer. Being part of some volunteering projects, and having many peers involved in others, there will definitely be opportunities to be explored as a society should I be given a chance to do so.
