Back when I was a kid, my family used to love playing Mahjong during the Lunar New Year. Sadly, I didn’t care much for Mahjong at the time, always joking that my family members were a bunch of ‘gamblers’. However, this all changed after my friends introduced me to Mahjong and I found out how fun it actually is! I first learnt how to play after joining the society, where members kindly taught me how to play. I have since joined weekly socials, where I have met many lifelong friends. Since the society has brought me so much joy, I would love to be able to give back. My past experiences make me an excellent listener, willing to listen to your worries or ideas. I am also an amicable and friendly person, always willing to have a chat. If elected, I will firstly ensure everyone’s voices are heard. I will also try to promote a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Finally, I will aim to provide more support to beginners and members who have learnt different versions of Mahjong.
