Hanifah Kabir

I’ve been part of Lamorna Society for a year now and really love the monthly workshops and friendly, close-knit community formed. The lovely thing about being part of such a new society is that there is so much room for growth and opportunity!

I would love to be the society’s president this year. Some changes I’m passionate about are new moulds for the candles (both shapes and recycled containers) and having different projects in the workshops, to keep things new and challengingo. For example, making valentines candles where you put a piece of jewellery at the bottom of the candle, as a gift to the recipient. I think it would also be great to have occasional larger-group workshops so we could get to know each other better. I’m only one person with only so many ideas so I’d love to have a place for suggestions, too (probably an email or instagram)!
