Knitting Society: Treasurer

Hi, I'm Juwairiyyah, a second year History student :)

I joined KnitSoc at the start of this year and I've really enjoyed being a part of it. I'm running for Treasurer as a way to contribute and give back to the society, as well as enhancing my experience along the way. I think I would make a good treasurer as I'm very organised, and good at meeting deadlines and managing tasks which will help with handling finances. 

If elected I will:

- Ensure that the funds of the society are managed appropriately and efficiently 

- Use funds to work closely with the rest of the committee to put on interesting and fun events for everyone

- Save money where possible

- Identify opportunities and possibilities to improve the society for its members

I'm looking forward to being part of the society again next year and I hope you will consider electing me!
