In Aid of UNICEF Society: Head of Sponsorship

Hi! I’m Sara, a second-year undergraduate student, studying Education Studies - passionate about educational issues around the world ;). Last year, I was the Treasurer of UCL In Aid of UNICEF Society. After being part of the society as a committee member for a year, I can proudly say that this society is impactful, exciting and full of potential. I am running for Head of Sponsorship for two main reasons.

1. Sponsorship is crucial in sustaining this society and running core + exciting events. I was part of creating the sponsorship package last year. The sponsorship package aimed to appeal to external organisations, who may be interested in sponsoring our society. Last year’s committee all agreed that this was a lot of work + would have been most effective if this was completed before Term 1 started (it is why it is a newly established committee role!). Therefore, I would like to continue and accomplish what I learned for this year’s committee. In addition, I plan to work closely with external relations officer to establish new relationships with external groups. 
2. I really enjoyed being part of the committee last year! Being part of the committee also entails attending weekly meetings, planning and organising events, and helping out other members of the committee. With my experience from last year, I hope to continue all this and most of all have fun being part of the committee :)

I am very excited to see UCL In Aid of UNICEF grow as a society :)
