Friends of Israel Society: Treasurer

Hi everyone! My name is Ela Abbou, and i'm running to be the Treasurer of the Friends of Israel Society.

Along with the running president, we are looking to give life to the society by proposing a range of new events.

Mainly, we are looking to launch the first Israel Tech Trip. Inspired by an extremely successful project carried out in other London universities, we wish to offer students the opportunity to discover Israel and all it has to give. Through a trip filled with talks, cultural events, entrepreneurship opportunities, and discovering startups, we hope to provide insight into Israel's strengths.

As treasurer of the society, I would ensure that we have appropriate sponsorship for this trip, to make it open and accessible to all.

Furthermore, we will organise events throughout the year such as guest speakers, socials, cultural events and networking opportunities.

Overall, I would love to take on the role of Treasurer for the Friends of Israel Society in the upcoming academic year, and i'm really looking forward to working with everyone.
