Danilo Paganelli

Hey everyone! I am Danilo and I would love to be the Vice President for the Ex-Yugoslav society! I am currently the welfare officer and I have loved being part of this amazing society and meeting everyone! Next year, I will ensure that we have regular events, such as pubnights, movie nights, speed-friendings (and maybe dating..?), clubnights, cook-offs and many more! I will ensure that the members' feedback is heard so that we can make the society as appealing to members as possible. One of the main things that I want to do next year as Vice President is to introduce language classes for Ex-Yugoslav languages (Slovenian, Serbian, Croatian, Macedonian and others!) so that members get to learn these amazing languages (and members get to teach them and put something impressive on their CV!). Additionally, I want to help the welfare officer in supporting all our members so that all members feel comfortable and happy in the society :) I am a very passionate and responsible person, having been on the committee of many societies this year, and this makes me experienced, which will help in being part of the committee next year. I will also organise collabs with other societies (I have a lot of connections, so this will be relatively easy to do) and create a buddy system for first years (so members in the older years helping members starting UCL in September) in order to help all freshers and make them happy :) I will ensure that the society is the very best that it can be!
