As a volunteer of Engineers Without Borders for 1.5 years, I have deepened my belief in the importance of sustainability and engineering, as well as the promotion of these values to our next generation. Personally, I have studied about the challenges that developing countries and countries in war have encountered and how innovative infrastructures can improve the quality of life and secure peoplehood. Therefore, I have always supported the vision of EWB. There is no Planet B and borders. It is high time that we secured humanity and environmental-friendliness.

As an aspiring educator, I have always believed in the potential of children and youngsters. I am eager to promote EWB's work through organizing more workshops to introduce engineering as a concept and arouse their interests in the field. Recalling my past volunteering experiences, there were children as young as 10 who love sciences. We should never let this passion stop, but instead continue to enlighten their hopes and expand their visions.

Also, it is my hope to encourage more members of the society engage with any outreach work with schools. I believe introducing the voices of engineers and scientists in the field would be a special learning experience for kids, as well as a unique way of spreading passion.

Should I be elected, I would keep in touch with all members and actively ask for feedback on any volunteering work. Besides, I would attempt to build a close-knitted, respectful and friendly community.
